Reloom VR began with two brothers who saw a better way to showcase the spirit of college life. Under the name Campus VR, they built immersive virtual tours that brought prospective students right into the heart of campus, walking through locker rooms, standing on the sidelines at major sporting events, and experiencing the energy of student life from thousands of miles away. That early work proved the power of immersive technology. It was not about showing places, it was about capturing the emotion of being there.

What moment inspired Reloom’s true mission?

Zvi Goffer brought his VR camera to capture a simple moment, his best friend watching the game with his ailing father. They spent the day laughing, cheering, just being together. Shortly after, his friend’s father passed away. Weeks later, Zvi showed him the VR recording. As he slipped on the headset, he was transported back, hearing his dad’s voice and seeing him smile. He sat silently, smiling through tears. 'It felt like he was right there again,' he said. 'It’s the greatest gift anyone’s ever given me.' That was the moment Reloom VR was born, with a mission to let people not just remember life’s most meaningful moments, but relive them.

How did Reloom bring this technology to life?

Building the Reloom robot was not a one-and-done process. It was a journey of iterations. Dozens of prototypes and countless refinements went into fine-tuning the way it moves.
